The Hitchcock Bulldogs basketball team scored 73 points and limited the host Westwood Panthers to 62 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Friday.

The Bulldogs now have a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Tatum for a non-league game on Saturday, December 14. Hitchcock will confront a Eagles team coming off a 62-54 non-league win over Hudson (Lufkin, TX). The Eagles record now stands at 6-1.

With the loss, Westwood falls to 7-2 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Mexia (Mexia, TX) to confront the Black Cats in a 3A Region III District 20 game on Tuesday, December 17. The Black Cats go into the game with a record of 7-6. Mexia lost 65-54 in their recent non-league game against Decatur (Decatur, TX)
