The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Izard County Cougars (Brockwell, AR) and the visiting Sloan-Hendrix Greyhounds (Imboden, AR), observed Izard County's basketball team overwhelm Sloan-Hendrix by a score of 75-41.
The Cougars (5-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Cedar Ridge (Newark, AR). The Timberwolves come into the 2A Region 2 challenge with a 9-0 record.
In their next game, the Greyhounds encounter the Marshall Bobcats (Marshall, AR) in a 2A Region 2 challenge, on Friday, December 20. Sloan-Hendrix will attempt to improve on its 14-5 season record.
