In Friday's league contest, the visiting Lennox Academy Panthers basketball team scored a good 55-44 triumph over the New Roads Jaguars.

The Panthers (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Harbor Teacher (Wilmington, CA). The Monarchs go into the non-league contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Harbor Teacher was topped by View Park (Los Angeles, CA), 42-31, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Jaguars battle the Hawthorne Math & Science Academy The Aviators (Hawthorne, CA) in a Coastal contest, on Friday, January 10. New Roads will attempt to better on its 2-4 season record.
