The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the North Springs Spartans (Atlanta, GA) and the host Lithonia Bulldogs (Lithonia, GA), observed North Springs's basketball team knock off Lithonia by a score of 53-42.

The Spartans (3-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Northview (Johns Creek, GA). The Titans come into the AAAA Region 5 challenge with a 2-11 record. In their last challenge, Northview was knocked off by Druid Hills (Atlanta, GA), 65-62, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bulldogs encounter the Towers Titans (Decatur, GA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 14. Lithonia will attempt to improve on its 4-7 season record. The Titans come into the challenge with a 7-3 record after their 85-56 non-league loss to Westminster (Atlanta, GA).
