Virginia High School Basketball - Randolph-Henry holds off Lunenburg Central

The Randolph-Henry Statesmen basketball team scored 69 points and limited the visiting Lunenburg Central Chargers to 68 in the Statesmen league triumph on Friday.
The Statesmen now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Prince Edward County for a James River game on Tuesday, December 17. Randolph-Henry will confront a Eagles team coming off a 66-42 league win over Amelia County (Amelia Court House, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Lunenburg Central falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Chargers host Nottoway (Nottoway, VA) to confront the Cougars in a James River game on Thursday, December 19. The Cougars go into the game with a record of 1-4. Nottoway lost 67-50 in their recent non-league game against Colonial Heights (Colonial Heights, VA)
