The Veterans Memorial Chargers basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting Lyford Bulldogs to 41 in the Chargers non-league triumph on Friday.

With the loss, Lyford falls to 8-7 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, TX) to confront the Warriors in a 3A Region IV District 32 game on Tuesday, December 17. The Warriors go into the game with a record of 2-8. Santa Rosa won 83-41 in their recent league game against Progreso (Progreso, TX)
