The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Southwest Trojans (Washburn, MO) and the visiting Marionville Comets (Marionville, MO), observed Southwest's basketball team edge Marionville by a margin of 64-57.

The Trojans (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Galena (Galena, KS). The Bulldogs come into the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Galena edged Girard (Girard, KS), 55-36, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Comets battle the Clever Blue Jays (Clever, MO) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, December 17. Marionville will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record.
