In Friday's league contest, the host Meek Tigers basketball team scored a big 56-32 triumph over the St. Bernard Prep Saints.

The Tigers (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Curry (Jasper, AL). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league contest with a 1-9 record. In their last contest, Curry was trounced by Corner (Warrior, AL), 68-28, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Saints battle the Addison Bulldogs (Addison, AL) in a 1A Area 14 contest, on Tuesday, December 17. St. Bernard Prep will attempt to better on its 1-7 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 4-7 record after their 75-41 non-league loss to West Point (Cullman, AL).
