The Midlakes Screaming Eagles basketball team scored 47 points and restricted the visiting Waterloo Tigers to 45 in the Screaming Eagles league win on Friday.

The Screaming Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Newark (Newark, NY). The Reds come into the Section 5 Finger Lakes - East contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Newark edged Penn Yan Academy (Penn Yan, NY), 74-52, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Palmyra-Macedon Red Raiders (Palmyra, NY) in a Section 5 Finger Lakes - East contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Waterloo will attempt to better on its 3-2 season record. The Red Raiders come into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 46-44 league win over Geneva (Geneva, NY).
