The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Round Valley Elks (Eagar, AZ) and the visiting Mogollon Mustangs (Heber, AZ), observed Round Valley's basketball team knock off Mogollon by a score of 56-40.

The Elks (3-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Alchesay (Whiteriver, AZ). The Falcons come into the non-league challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, Alchesay prevailed over Round Valley (Eagar, AZ), 65-45, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs encounter the Ash Fork Spartans (Ash Fork, AZ) in a 1A Central challenge, on Monday, December 16. Mogollon will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 63-43 league loss to Williams (Williams, AZ).
