In Friday's league contest, the host Montabella Mustangs basketball team scored a big 59-30 win over the St. Charles Bulldogs.
The Mustangs (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Coleman (Coleman, MI). The Comets come into the Mid-State contest with a 3-3 record. In their last contest, Coleman smashed Breckenridge (Breckenridge, MI), 52-49, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Michigan Lutheran Seminary Cardinals (Saginaw, MI) in a non-league contest, on Monday, December 16. St. Charles will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Cardinals come into the contest with a 4-1 record after their 50-43 league win over Nouvel Catholic Central (Saginaw, MI).
