Maryland High School Basketball - Veritas Collegiate Academy bested by New Hope Academy National

New Hope Academy National Tigers (Landover Hills, MD) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Veritas Collegiate Academy Spartans (Arlington, VA), 82-66 in a non-league match.

With the victory, New Hope Academy National advances its record to 5-5 on the year. The Tigers travel to Bethel Academy (Manassas, VA) to meet the Blazers in a non-league match on Saturday, December 14. The Blazers enter the match with a record of 2-4. Bethel Academy lost 90-74 in their recent non-league match against Shining Star Sports Academy (Petersburg, VA)

The Spartans now own a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Evergreen Christian for a non-league match on Saturday, December 14. Veritas Collegiate Academy will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 84-45 league loss to Highland (Warrenton, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 8-2.
