Next, the Trojans encounter the Coahoma County Red Panthers (Clarksdale, MS) in a non-league test, on Saturday, December 14. New Hope will attempt to improve on its 5-3 season record. The Red Panthers come into the test with a 11-2 record after their 54-39 non-league win over Douglass (Memphis, TN).

The Green Wave (2-9) will now prepare for their test against Corinth (Corinth, MS). The Warriors come into the 5A Region 1 test with a 1-6 record. In their last test, Corinth was knocked off by Clarksdale (Clarksdale, MS), 66-61, in a league test.
