In Friday's league contest, the visiting St. George's Dragons basketball team scored a good 61-42 win over the Newport Grizzlies.
The Dragons (4-2) will now prepare for their contest against Kettle Falls (Kettle Falls, WA). The Bulldogs come into the 2B Bi-County contest with a 1-2 record. In their last contest, Kettle Falls dropped by Tonasket (Tonasket, WA), 53-48, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Grizzlies battle the Northwest Christian School Crusaders (Colbert, WA) in a 2B Bi-County contest, on Wednesday, December 18. Newport will attempt to better on its 0-4 season record. The Crusaders come into the contest with a 3-2 record after their 64-44 league loss to Reardan (Reardan, WA).
