In Friday's league test, the Northwest Guilford Vikings (Greensboro, NC) basketball squad got by the visiting Northern Guilford Nighthawks (Greensboro, NC), by a final score of 52-48.

Next, the Vikings clash with the West Forsyth Titans (Clemmons, NC) in a non-league test, on Wednesday, December 18. Northwest Guilford will attempt to upgrade on its 5-1 season record. The Titans come into the test with a 4-0 record after their 75-35 league win over Parkland (Winston-Salem, NC).

The Nighthawks (2-4) will now prepare for their test against Chapel Hill (Chapel Hill, NC). The Tigers come into the non-league test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, Chapel Hill was nipped by Orange (Hillsborough, NC), 65-58, in a non-league test.
