In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Valley Cavaliers basketball team scored a good 57-44 triumph over the Richmond Bobcats.

The Cavaliers (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Wiscasset (Wiscasset, ME). The Wolverines go into the D South contest with a 2-0 record. In their last contest, Wiscasset topped Forest Hills (Jackman, ME), 72-64, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bobcats confront the Buckfield Bucks (Buckfield, ME) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Richmond will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Bucks go into the contest with a 1-2 record after their 46-33 non-league loss to Carrabec (North Anson, ME).
