The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Ripley Tigers (Ripley, MS) and the visiting Tishomingo County Braves (Iuka, MS), observed Ripley's basketball team overcome Tishomingo County by a score of 74-65.

The Tigers (8-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Shannon (Shannon, MS). The Red Raiders come into the 4A Region 1 challenge with a 4-7 record. In their last challenge, Shannon dropped by Saltillo (Saltillo, MS), 59-47, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Braves battle the Wheeler Eagles (Wheeler, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 27. Tishomingo County will attempt to improve on its 8-2 season record.
