The Start Spartans basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Rogers Rams to 47 in the Spartans league triumph on Friday.

The Spartans now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to St. Francis de Sales for a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. Start will play a Knights team coming off a 64-62 league win over St. John's Jesuit (Toledo, OH). The Knights record now stands at 3-0.

With the loss, Rogers falls to 5-2 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Anthony Wayne (Whitehouse, OH) to play the Generals in a non-league game on Saturday, December 14. The Generals go into the game with a record of 1-1. Anthony Wayne won 65-45 in their recent league game against Ross (Fremont, OH)
