Southland Academy Raiders (Americus, GA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Westfield School Hornets (Perry, GA), 64-43 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Southland Academy advances its record to 6-4 on the year. The Raiders host Fullington Academy (Pinehurst, GA) to meet the Trojans in a non-league match on Monday, December 16. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 4-3. Fullington Academy won 59-39 in their recent non-league match against John Hancock Academy (Sparta, GA)

The Hornets now own a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Gatewood for a non-league match on Thursday, December 19. Westfield School will meet a Gators squad coming off a 67-44 non-league win over Piedmont Academy (Monticello, GA). The Gators record now stands at 6-0.
