Virginia High School Basketball - Summit Christian Academy bested by Walsingham Academy

Walsingham Academy Trojans (Williamsburg, VA) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the visiting Summit Christian Academy Eagles (Yorktown, VA), 44-33 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Walsingham Academy advances its record to 2-6 on the year. The Trojans travel to Gloucester (Gloucester, VA) to face the Dukes in a non-league match on Saturday, December 21. The Dukes enter the match with a record of 1-4.

The Eagles now own a 2-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Blessed Sacrament-Huguenot for a non-league match on Saturday, December 14. Summit Christian Academy will face a Knights squad coming off a 58-42 non-league win over Fork Union Military Academy (Fork Union, VA). The Knights record now stands at 2-2.
