The Slidell Greyhounds basketball team scored 47 points and limited the host Alvord Bulldogs to 23 in the Greyhounds league triumph on Friday.

The Greyhounds now possess a 11-3 record. They play next when they travel to Collinsville for a 2A Region II District 13 game on Tuesday, December 17. Slidell will play a Pirates team coming off a 35-29 league loss to Muenster (Muenster, TX). The Pirates record now stands at 4-4.

With the loss, Alvord falls to 3-11 on the campaign. The Bulldogs host Chico (Chico, TX) to play the Dragons in a 2A Region II District 13 game on Tuesday, December 17. The Dragons go into the game with a record of 8-5. Chico won 40-38 in their recent league game against Tioga (Tioga, TX)
