The Prince Edward County Eagles basketball team scored 67 points and limited the host Amelia County Raiders to 25 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.

The Eagles now have a 6-0 record. They play next when they host Altavista for a non-league game on Monday, December 16. Prince Edward County will confront a Colonels team coming off a 44-20 league loss to William Campbell (Naruna, VA). The Colonels record now stands at 0-5.

With the loss, Amelia County falls to 1-4 on the campaign. The Raiders travel to Cumberland (Cumberland, VA) to confront the Dukes in a James River game on Tuesday, December 17. The Dukes go into the game with a record of 5-1.
