North Carolina High School Basketball - Bethany Community thwarts College Prep & Leadership Academy

December 13, 2024: Jamestown, NC

The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Bethany Community Wolves (Summerfield, NC) and the host College Prep & Leadership Academy Royals (Jamestown, NC), observed Bethany Community's basketball team knock off College Prep & Leadership Academy by a score of 49-41.

The Wolves (7-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Leadership Academy (Kernersville, NC). The Falcons come into the 1A Northwest Piedmont challenge with a 2-4 record. In their last challenge, Leadership Academy was knocked off by Piedmont Classical (Browns Summit, NC), 51-40, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Royals encounter the Carver Yellowjackets (Winston-Salem, NC) in a 1A Northwest Piedmont challenge, on Tuesday, December 17. College Prep & Leadership Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-2 season record.
