The Broadway Gobblers basketball team scored 58 points and limited the host Fort Defiance Indians to 20 in the Gobblers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Gobblers now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Rockbridge County for a Valley game on Tuesday, December 17. Broadway will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 51-20 non-league loss to Stuarts Draft (Stuarts Draft, VA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-3.
With the loss, Fort Defiance falls to 0-4 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Turner Ashby (Bridgewater, VA) to confront the Knights in a non-league game on Monday, December 16. The Knights go into the game with a record of 2-3. Turner Ashby lost 44-33 in their recent non-league game against Lord Botetourt (Daleville, VA)
