The Marion Scarlet Hurricanes defeated the visiting Chilhowie Warriors basketball squad by a final score of 46-33 in Friday's non-league outing.

Next, the Scarlet Hurricanes clash with the George Wythe Maroons (Wytheville, VA) in a non-league outing, on Wednesday, December 18. Marion will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Maroons come into the outing with a 5-0 record after their 60-26 league win over Giles (Pearisburg, VA).
