With the victory, Jackson County advances its record to 7-3 on the year. The Panthers host Habersham Central (Mt. Airy, GA) to face the Raiders in a AAAAA Region 8 match on Tuesday, December 17. The Raiders enter the match with a record of 2-6. Habersham Central lost 51-38 in their recent non-league match against Rabun Gap-Nacoochee (Rabun Gap, GA)

The Gladiators now own a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Loganville for a AAAAA Region 8 match on Tuesday, December 17. Clarke Central will face a Red Devils squad coming off a 66-41 league win over Apalachee (Winder, GA). The Red Devils record now stands at 2-7.
