The Cobras (13-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Rice Consolidated (Altair, TX). The Raiders come into the 3A Region IV District 25 challenge with a 1-11 record. In their last challenge, Rice Consolidated was knocked off by Palacios (Palacios, TX), 59-22, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Cardinals encounter the Tidehaven Tigers (El Maton, TX) in a 3A Region IV District 25 challenge, on Tuesday, December 17. Columbus will attempt to improve on its 11-5 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 18-0 record after their 58-57 league win over Edna (Edna, TX).
