The Guyer Wildcats basketball team scored 58 points and limited the visiting Coppell Cowboys to 44 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.

The Wildcats now have a 14-2 record. They play next when they travel to Hebron for a 6A Region I District 5 game on Tuesday, December 17. Guyer will confront a Hawks team coming off a 55-49 league loss to Marcus (Flower Mound, TX). The Hawks record now stands at 7-8.

With the loss, Coppell falls to 11-11 on the campaign. The Cowboys host Little Elm (Little Elm, TX) to confront the Lobos in a 6A Region I District 5 game on Tuesday, December 17. The Lobos go into the game with a record of 4-16. Little Elm lost 77-41 in their recent league game against Flower Mound (Flower Mound, TX)
