The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Cornwall Central Dragons (New Windsor, NY) and the host Monticello Panthers (Monticello, NY), observed Cornwall Central's basketball team overwhelm Monticello by a score of 80-12.

The Dragons (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Valley Central (Montgomery, NY). The Vikings come into the Section 9 Orange County II challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Valley Central trounced Goshen Central (Goshen, NY), 38-28, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Port Jervis Raiders (Port Jervis, NY) in a Section 9 Orange County III test, on Tuesday, December 17. Monticello will attempt to improve on its 1-2 season record. The Raiders come into the test with a 1-0 record after their 30-25 non-league win over Chester (Chester, NY).
