In Friday's league contest, the host Marked Tree Indians basketball team scored a big 58-19 triumph over the Crowley's Ridge Academy Falcons.
The Indians (7-1) will now prepare for their contest against Hillcrest (Strawberry, AR). The Screamin Eagles go into the 1A Region 3 contest with a 3-8 record. In their last contest, Hillcrest smashed Crowley's Ridge Academy (Paragould, AR), 44-39, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Falcons battle the Earle Bulldogs (Earle, AR) in a 1A Region 3 contest, on Monday, December 16. Crowley's Ridge Academy will attempt to better on its 3-7 season record. The Bulldogs go into the contest with a 8-4 record after their 86-65 league win over Maynard (Maynard, AR).
