Virginia High School Basketball - Deep Run fells Freeman

The Deep Run Wildcats basketball team scored 52 points and limited the visiting Freeman Mavericks to 40 in the Wildcats league triumph on Friday.
The Wildcats now have a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to Hermitage for a Colonial game on Tuesday, December 17. Deep Run will confront a Panthers team coming off a 63-36 non-league loss to Hanover (Mechanicsville, VA). The Panthers record now stands at 0-3.
With the loss, Freeman falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Mavericks host Varina (Richmond, VA) to confront the Blue Devils in a non-league game on Monday, December 16. The Blue Devils go into the game with a record of 1-1. Varina lost 66-22 in their recent non-league game against Hopewell (Hopewell, VA)
