Next, the Scorpions encounter the Paradise Valley Trojans (Phoenix, AZ) in a 5A Desert West test, on Tuesday, December 17. Desert Edge will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Trojans come into the test with a 4-5 record after their 61-40 league win over North Canyon (Phoenix, AZ).

The Vipers (0-7) will now prepare for their test against Lake Havasu (Lake Havasu City, AZ). The Knights come into the non-league test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, Lake Havasu beat Shadow Mountain (Phoenix, AZ), 39-17, in a non-league test.
