Texas High School Basketball - Edison overwhelmed by Sam Houston

In Friday's league test, the Sam Houston Hurricanes (San Antonio, TX) basketball squad trounced the visiting Edison Golden Bears (San Antonio, TX), by a score of 52-11.

Next, the Hurricanes encounter the Highlands Owls (San Antonio, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 27 test, on Tuesday, December 17. Sam Houston will attempt to improve on its 18-4 season record. The Owls come into the test with a 9-13 record after their 45-42 league loss to Brackenridge (San Antonio, TX).

The Golden Bears (5-15) will now prepare for their test against Fox Tech (San Antonio, TX). The Buffaloes come into the 5A Region IV District 27 test with a 7-11 record. In their last test, Fox Tech was routed by Seguin (Seguin, TX), 45-25, in a league test.
