Georgia High School Basketball - Effingham County routed by Glynn Academy

December 13, 2024: Springfield, GA 31329

Glynn Academy Terrors (Brunswick, GA) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Effingham County Rebels (Springfield, GA), 56-27 in a league match.

With the victory, Glynn Academy upgrades its record to 5-5 on the year. The Terrors travel to Ware County (Waycross, GA) to face the Gators in a non-league match on Saturday, December 14. The Gators enter the match with a record of 8-0. Ware County won 70-25 in their recent non-league match against Atkinson County (Pearson, GA)

The Rebels now sport a 1-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Statesboro for a AAAAA Region 1 match on Saturday, December 14. Effingham County will face a Blue Devils squad coming off a 47-31 non-league loss to Camden County (Kingsland, GA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-4.
