Maine High School Basketball - Ellsworth holds off Hermon

The Ellsworth Eagles basketball team scored 53 points and limited the host Hermon Hawks to 48 in the Eagles league triumph on Friday.
The Eagles now have a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Foxcroft Academy for a B North game on Monday, December 16. Ellsworth will confront a Ponies team coming off a 32-26 league loss to Presque Isle (Presque Isle, ME). The Ponies record now stands at 2-1.
With the loss, Hermon falls to 1-1 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Foxcroft Academy (Dover-Foxcroft, ME) to confront the Ponies in a B North game on Thursday, December 19. The Ponies go into the game with a record of 2-1.
