The Meridian Mustangs basketball team scored 50 points and limited the host Fauquier Falcons to 13 in the Mustangs league triumph on Friday.

The Mustangs now possess a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Liberty for a Northwestern game on Tuesday, December 17. Meridian will confront a Eagles team coming off a 38-36 non-league win over Eastern View (Culpeper, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, Fauquier falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to Warren County (Front Royal, VA) to confront the Wildcats in a Northwestern game on Tuesday, December 17. The Wildcats go into the game with a record of 3-4. Warren County won 41-37 in their recent non-league game against Rock Ridge (Ashburn, VA)
