The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the First Colonial Patriots (Virginia Beach, VA) and the visiting Tallwood Lions (Virginia Beach, VA), observed First Colonial's basketball team overwhelm Tallwood by a score of 53-25.

The Patriots (1-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Salem (Virginia Beach, VA). The Sundevils come into the Beach challenge with a 3-1 record. In their last challenge, Salem trounced Bayside (Virginia Beach, VA), 75-9, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions battle the Indian River Braves (Chesapeake, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, December 16. Tallwood will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Braves come into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 48-38 non-league win over Friendship Collegiate Academy (Washington, DC).
