Providence Christian Academy LIONS (Murfreesboro, TN) supporters left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad run past the host Franklin Road Academy Panthers (Nashville, TN), 49-37 in a league match.

With the victory, Providence Christian Academy advances its record to 3-2 on the year. The LIONS travel to University School of Nashville (Nashville, TN) to meet the Tigers in a Division II-A Middle District 3 match on Friday, January 3. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 3-4.

The Panthers now own a 5-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host St. Cecilia Academy for a non-league match on Saturday, December 14. Franklin Road Academy will meet a Scarabs squad coming off a 49-27 non-league loss to Mount de Sales Academy (Catonsville, MD). The Scarabs record now stands at 2-6.
