The Marshall Owls basketball team scored 40 points and limited the visiting Fulton Hornets to 35 in the Owls league triumph on Friday.

The Owls now have a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Moberly for a North Central Missouri game on Friday, December 20.

With the loss, Fulton falls to 1-5 on the campaign. The Hornets travel to Boonville (Boonville, MO) to confront the Pirates in a non-league game on Tuesday, December 17. The Pirates go into the game with a record of 5-2. Boonville lost 54-33 in their recent non-league game against Centralia (Centralia, MO)
