New York High School Basketball - Sharon Springs Central victorious over Gilbertsville-Mt. Upton

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Sharon Springs Central Spartans basketball team scored a good 49-39 triumph over the Gilbertsville-Mt. Upton Raiders.

The Spartans (1-1) will now prepare for their contest against Cherry Valley-Springfield (Cherry Valley, NY). The Patriots go into the Section 4 Tri-Valley contest with a 2-0 record.

In their next game, the Raiders confront the Franklin Central Purple Devils (Franklin, NY) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, December 18. Gilbertsville-Mt. Upton will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Purple Devils go into the contest with a 2-3 record after their 48-41 non-league win over Margaretville Central (Margaretville, NY).
