The Stearns Minutemen (Millinocket, ME) basketball were winner over the visiting Greenville Lakers (Greenville, ME), 40-23 in Friday's non-league bout.
The Minutemen now possess a 2-2 record. They play next when they host Schenck for a D North bout on Saturday, December 14. Stearns will play a Wolverines team coming off a 54-20 non-league win over Orono (Orono, ME). The Wolverines record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Greenville falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Lakers travel to Piscataquis (Guilford, ME) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Thursday, December 19. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 0-2.
