In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Gretna East Griffins basketball team scored a big 50-26 triumph over the Gretna Dragons.

The Griffins (3-1) will now prepare for their contest against Bellevue West (Bellevue, NE). The Thunderbirds go into the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Bellevue West was trounced by Papillion-LaVista (Papillion, NE), 75-62, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Dragons battle the Lincoln East Spartans (Lincoln, NE) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, December 14. Gretna will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Spartans go into the contest with a 0-3 record after their 58-33 league loss to Omaha Westside (Omaha, NE).
