The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Highland Huskies (Riverside, IA) and the host Winfield-Mt. Union Wolves (Winfield, IA), observed Highland's basketball team knock off Winfield-Mt. Union by a score of 48-37.

The Huskies (5-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Wapello (Wapello, IA). The Indians come into the SEI - North challenge with a 0-4 record. In their last challenge, Wapello was knocked off by Hillcrest Academy (Kalona, IA), 65-41, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Wolves encounter the Holy Trinity Catholic Crusaders (Fort Madison, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 14. Winfield-Mt. Union will attempt to improve on its 2-5 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 4-0 record after their 41-28 non-league win over Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, IA).
