Alabama High School Basketball - Sipsey Valley routs Holt

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Sipsey Valley Bears basketball team scored a big 55-16 triumph over the Holt Ironmen .

The Bears (4-3) will now prepare for their contest against Wenonah (Birmingham, AL). The Dragons go into the 5A Area 9 contest with a 14-3 record.

In their next game, the Ironmen confront the West Blocton Tigers (West Blocton, AL) in a 4A Area 6 contest, on Monday, December 16. Holt will attempt to better on its 0-10 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 4-3 record after their 90-13 non-league loss to Calera (Calera, AL).
