In Friday's non-league contest, the host Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg Fighting Saints basketball team scored a big 84-15 triumph over the Ortonville Trojans.

The Fighting Saints (7-0) will now prepare for their contest against Lac qui Parle Valley (Madison, MN). The Eagles go into the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Lac qui Parle Valley was trounced by MACCRAY (Clara City, MN), 54-29, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Trojans battle the Ashby Arrows (Ashby, MN) in a A Section 6 contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Ortonville will attempt to better on its 0-7 season record. The Arrows go into the contest with a 0-6 record after their 59-37 non-league loss to Bertha-Hewitt (Bertha, MN).
