Springfield Tigers (New Middletown, OH) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host McDonald Blue Devils (McDonald, OH), 43-22 in a league match.

With the victory, Springfield upgrades its record to 3-2 on the year. The Tigers travel to Poland Seminary (Poland, OH) to face the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Saturday, December 14. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 2-3. Poland Seminary won 58-18 in their recent league match against Hubbard (Hubbard, OH)

The Blue Devils now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Maplewood for a non-league match on Saturday, December 14. McDonald will face a Rockets squad coming off a 43-24 league win over Pymatuning Valley (Andover, OH). The Rockets record now stands at 4-0.
