The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the McLean County Cougars (Calhoun, KY) and the visiting Muhlenberg County Mustangs (Greenville, KY), observed McLean County's basketball team knock off Muhlenberg County by a score of 47-39.

The Cougars (2-4) will now prepare for their challenge against Ohio County (Hartford, KY). The Eagles come into the District 10 challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Ohio County dropped by Central Hardin (Cecilia, KY), 60-51, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Mustangs encounter the Caldwell County Tigers (Princeton, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 14. Muhlenberg County will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 2-2 record after their 55-45 non-league loss to Hopkinsville (Hopkinsville, KY).
