Texas High School Basketball - New Braunfels fells Veterans Memorial

December 13, 2024: New Braunfels, TX 78130

The New Braunfels Unicorns basketball team scored 48 points and limited the visiting Veterans Memorial Patriots to 29 in the Unicorns league triumph on Friday.

The Unicorns now possess a 13-10 record. They play next when they travel to Smithson Valley for a 5A Region IV District 26 game on Tuesday, December 17. New Braunfels will confront a Rangers team coming off a 50-31 league loss to Pieper (San Antonio, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 7-14.

With the loss, Veterans Memorial falls to 4-16 on the campaign. The Patriots host Wagner (San Antonio, TX) to face the Thunderbirds in a 5A Region IV District 26 match on Tuesday, December 17. The Thunderbirds enter the match with a record of 17-3. Wagner won 51-27 in their recent league match against Tivy (Kerrville, TX)
