In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting New Ulm Eagles basketball team scored a big 76-21 triumph over the Waseca Bluejays.
The Eagles (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Fairmont (Fairmont, MN). The Cardinals go into the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Fairmont smashed Martin County West (Sherburn, MN), 42-41, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Bluejays battle the Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial Knights (Lake Crystal, MN) in a AA Section 2 contest, on Tuesday, December 17. Waseca will attempt to better on its 0-7 season record. The Knights go into the contest with a 1-5 record after their 65-46 non-league loss to St. Cloud Cathedral (St. Cloud, MN).
