North Carolina High School Basketball - Pinecrest routs Southern Lee

December 13, 2024: Sanford, NC 27332

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Pinecrest Patriots basketball team scored a big 87-35 win over the Southern Lee Cavaliers.

The Patriots (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Purnell Swett (Pembroke, NC). The Rams come into the non-league contest with a 2-5 record. In their last contest, Purnell Swett was trounced by Gray's Creek (Hope Mills, NC), 47-44, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Cavaliers battle the Triton Hawks (Erwin, NC) in a non-league contest, on Friday, December 20. Southern Lee will attempt to better on its 3-6 season record. The Hawks come into the contest with a 4-5 record after their 63-0 league loss to Westover (Fayetteville, NC).
